According to the American Diabetes Association, “nearly 24 million children and adults in the United States are living with diabetes, and an additional 57 million Americans are at risk” and Diabetes is on the rise.

This is astonishing – especially that there is a way to reverse this by simply changing what we eat!!!

The rate of new cases rose by 14 percent between 2005 and 2007 alone, fueled by growing obesity and sedentary lifestyles.

Controlling sugar and insulin levels are key to treating type 2 diabetes.  All sugars and starches have to be kept to a minimum—people of all blood types should strictly adhere to the hypoglycemic diet for their blood type.

Insulin levels must be checked two to three times a day. The more insulin you take per day through medicine, the less insulin your body will produce. And that’s the hook!!.

You can become medically dependent on insulin, which will in turn reduce the functionality of your pancreas and inhibit its production of natural insulin.

I recommend the following therapies in treating diabetes:

·       German footbaths help improve circulation and may be available at European-style natural-healing clinics or spas. Commercially sold footbaths don’t contain the same herbal combination nor do they effectively stimulate circulation.

·       If you suffer from poor elimination, colonic irrigation can improve the functioning of the colon.

·       Hyperbaric-chamber treatment pumps oxygen into the body, which helps bring more oxygen to the blood. This in turn increases oxygen to the cells, which helps release toxicity.

·       Acupuncture is an effective way of improving circulation.

Vitamins and herbal extracts can play an important part in the treatment of diabetes.

I believe that vitamins should be regarded as a drug!!. They’re recommended by physicians and health practitioners as generic supplements for all people, and although they can provide a quantity of nutrients the body may require, they may also be consumed in quantities that are inappropriate.

In other words, not all people should take the same amount of multivitamins

Follow these recommendations for important vitamins based on your blood type:

·       Multivitamins. Type O’s should take a high-stress formula, Type A’s should take a low-stress formula, and Type B’s can follow the O regimen.

·       B12. Type A’s require a higher dose, and Types O and B require a lower amount.

·       B6. This vitamin is very important for circulation. Diabetics frequently develop circulatory problems.

·       Pancreas and adrenal extracts. These extracts are important to revitalize both the pancreas and adrenal glands.

·       Calcium. Type A’s must take this in conjunction with hydrochloric-acid tablets to help assimilate the calcium.

·       Vanadium. This vitamin helps the pancreas produce insulin.

Together we can turn the tide and become a healthier, more productive society.

We just need to know what to eat – and focus on the preventive healthcare.

Following the Blood Type based eating plan should be under the direct supervision of physicians who received their training exclusively from Dr. James L. D’Adamo.
